31th International CAE Conference

On October 20 RBF4AERO Team presented at the 31st International CAE Conference in Lazise (Italy) the activities performed in the Project framework regarding ice accretion simulations. The presentation is available for registered users in the Download Area.

RBF4AERO Team participated to the “11th Edition of the International Conference on Evolutionary and Deterministic Methods for Design, Optimization and Control with Applications to Industrial and Societal Problems - Eurogen 2015” in Glasgow (UK). The work presented at the conference was: “Aerodynamic Optimization of Car Shapes using the Continuous Adjoint Method and an RBF Morpher”. The presented paper is available for registered users in Download Area.

5th EASN Workshop

On 4th September, RBF4AERO Team participate to the 5th EASN International Workshop on Aerostructures in Manchester (UK). The presentations held were focused on the Project status and achievements and on the result of the technical collaboration with the RIBES EU funded project. In the Download Area the two presentation held by RBF4AERO Team are available for registered users.

RBF4AERO at the 5th EASN Workshop

On 4 September 2015, RBF4AERO will be at the 5th EASN International Workshop on Aerostructures, in Manchester. Two session will be held: on the first one an overview of the project status with advances on ice accretion simulations and adjoint-morphing coupling will be presented; on the second one result of a joint collaboration on aerostructures optimization will be illustrated.

Upcoming meetings

RBF4AERO Consortium is going to hold two important meetings on 17th and 18th February 2015. In the Second WP2 Technical Meeting, the involved partners are going to point out the current status of the RBF4AERO Benchmark Technology development and to decide strategies and action to be undertaken in the future to successfully complete the Work Packages’ tasks. During the M18 Progress Meeting all partners are going to underline the status of the activities for all project’s Work Packages, defining issues encountered during the developed activities and future actions. Both meetings will take place at D’Appolonia headquarter in Genoa.
